[INSIDE]
who you really are...
Personality:
Cash is considered a strange bird by many. He is the kind of guy who is great fun to hang out with, mainly due to the wild, off-the-wall kinds of things he says and the observations he makes. He has also been known to give surprisingly good advice from time to time. However, he's the kind of friend you generally only want in small doses. He can get rather intense at times and his eccentricities can become wearing on the psyche. He's also extremely unreliable. He only participates in conversations that are of direct interest to him, and once you go on about something else, he likely doesn't much care anymore. He comes around when he wants and when it's convenient for him. To wit, he won't come around to help you move but he will show up to your housewarming party. Cash likes to refer to himself as an acquired taste, as most people either don't have the patience for him or are completely overwhelmed by him. He is a genuinely friendly and extremely intelligent and creative guy, but also quite unsettling. Likes: nighttime, poetry, violin music, crashing stuffy, formal affairs Dislikes: seriousness, authority Special Abilities: being able to disappear and appear at will History: The true origins of the Cheshire Cat are unknown. He has existed for as long as Wonderland has existed, drifting around the Tulgey Wood. He spent his years finding ways to entertain himself by meddling in the affairs of the Queen of Hearts and crashing tea parties. It wasn't until Alice arrived, however, that things really started to get interesting. He was absolutely thrilled with her arrival and the seeming chaos it caused, of course. Though he very much enjoyed taunting and annoying her (even more than the Queen), he knew it was time to intervene when she actually found herself in danger of losing her head. Normally, he didn't care about such things, but she was too much fun to allow to die.
Cashel had a whirlwind of a childhood. He has no memory of his parents, as he was raised in various foster care homes. It is believed that his mother was a junkie living in Fable Mobile Home Park who didn't want him, but since he was dropped off at the fire station anonymously as an infant, no one knows for sure. He's never been particularly bothered by it though. He spent his childhood running away from his foster homes, not out of anger or rebelliousness, but out of sheer boredom and curiosity, befriending many of the other vagabond-type children. He has always been exceedingly intelligent, which he displayed randomly in class but offering surprisingly insightful opinions during various discussions, but rarely did any work. Cash ended up flunking out of high school and had absolutely no interest in furthering his education. He felt he knew enough already. Instead, he took more of an interest in a project that a couple of friends of his had undertaken. They built and opened up a bar called Tea Time. Right away, Cash fell in love with the ambiance of the place and became a bartender for them, and has been doing so ever since. He delights in spending his nights conversing with the patrons and learning all about their various dramas. It's a favorite hobby of his to offer up gossip or advice to add fuel to their fires. The party scene is where he feels right at home and seems to have no interest in slowing down.
Though lately, he's been having the weirdest random visions of a dark and strange forest, full of the most delightfully strange creatures he could ever imagine. It seems so lifelike, but looks like no where he has ever seen and some of the creatures simply couldn't be possible. At first he thought maybe it could possibly be the after effects of having a done a little too much acid. He thought that maybe, just maybe, it might actually be time to start slowing down on the partying just a little. But then it got even weirder. He was standing out back behind the bar having a cigarette break when he glanced down and the cigarette was floating in front of him. His hand was gone! He jumped in shock and dropped his cigarette but when he looked down again, everything was normal. He spent a good five minutes just staring at his hand, before figuring he must have had a little too much to drink...
