the rules

you can sign up with any name you want, but once you decide on your characters name, please change your display name. sure, this can realistically wait until you are approved or post your profile, but if you plan on filling out the app before posting it, then please change your name accordingly and make sure that your display name is all lowercase letters, and first and last names are required, middle is optional, and please do not put punctuation in your display name. as for how many characters you can have, you can have as many as you'd like, but we ask they aren't all the same gender and/or species and/or age range. try to keep it diverse. we have an extensive list of canon chars to choose from, but if you want to play a character that we haven't added, or you do want to play a canon char but have a different idea of what to do with them besides the description we have provided, just let an admin know! you are only limited by your own creativity!

on the note of applying, please post your application within 5 days of registering. we ask that you don't post any work in progress applications because, frankly, its not a long app. also, please fill out the application carefully and do not change the code. we'd also like for people to use people as play bys, and not drawn characters. and make sure you read the plot to make sure it fits in with the guidelines of the world we have created. before you make a decision on what kind of char to make, please check our demographics in the records board to see if there is a limit on that kind of character. once you have been accepted, post in the face claim, and the job claim if applicable. you can also put the link to your application, relationship thread, and tracker thread in your profile under 'personal profile' when you edit.

we allow all fairy tale characters and characters from classic stories on this site. many of them are already part of the canon list. these characters are living as regular people, but they actually are now acquiring whatever abilities they had in the stories they come from, and are receiving visions of their previous lives. if you have an idea for a kind of character that hasn't been specifically described in the canon list, but you think it would fit in, feel free to discuss it with a staff member. we have many many canon characters to choose from as well, with very limited descriptions so you can shape them how you see fit.
