who you really are...
Personality: Lacie Caroll is a very odd girl. She seems to be somewhat of a child stuck in a teenager's body. She has a vivid imagination and she often sees or hears things that aren't truly there. Of course, this could probably be blamed on the drugs and alcohol. Lacie is addicted to hallucinogenic drugs like LSD and PCP. However, she's not above 'experimenting' with other drugs like ecstasy, cocaine, and marijuana. Despite her druggie tendencies, Lacie is a normally friendly sort of girl. She is naturally quite curious, often leading her to try new things, even without her really thinking it through. She boasts somewhat of a party girl sort of attitude and she is all about letting loose and letting go. After living with her stuffy parents for so long, and after being neglected by them repeatedly, Lacie disregards most authority and the only set of rules she lives by is her own.
Underneath her flippant exterior is the lonely little girl who just wanted to dream. She was once innocent and creative, but instead of finding a healthy outlet for her imagination, she was sucked into the world of drugs and dreams. Lacie can often be found skipping school or using her fake ID to sneak into bars or nightclubs. She seems to, albeit a bit sadistically, enjoy acting like the perfect little princess in front of her parents and act as wild and crazy as she wants behind their back.

History: Alice Liddell was born in Victorian England. Growing up, Alice was taught to be a proper young lady. However, one sunny afternoon, Alice spotted a white rabbit sporting a tailcoat and a stopwatch. Curious, the young Alice followed the white rabbit down the rabbit hole, where she found Wonderland. Through many antics, including a very merry unbirthday party, singing flowers, and croquet matches played with hedgehogs and flamingos, Alice explored the enchanted world of Wonderland. Despite Alice's initial longing of a wondrous and curious world of her own, Alice eventually began to feel homesick. In the end, it all turned out to just be a dream - Or perhaps it was something more?
In Rock Castle, Lacie Caroll is born to the prestigious and well-off Caroll family. As a young girl, Lacie had a wild imagination that her parents repeatedly tried to quench. They hired no-nonsense nannies and humorless babysitters to give their daughter a taste of the 'real world'. After catching their 10-year-old daughter playing with a stray cat outside their mansion (a cat of whom Lacie had affectionately began calling 'Dinah'), they decided to send Lacie away to a boarding school in London, England. It was during this time spent in England did Lacie transform into someone completely different. That innocent little girl with a flowing imagination was locked away behind copious amounts of depression, from being neglected by her parents, and drugs, of which she was introduced to her third year of boarding school.
By the time Lacie came back to the States to attend high school, she was a totally new girl. She had gotten hooked on hallucinogens and drinking and partying. Any hopes that her parents would ever return her love had long disappeared. Lacie's parents had wanted their daughter to learn the ways of the 'real world' and that's exactly what she had done. Now attending Rock Castle's local high school, Lacie is known as the resident party girl. Currently she's in her junior year, although her frequent absences and lowering grades will someday catch up to the young girl. But right now, Lacie's riding out her teenage years with everything she's got, and she's enjoying every moment of it.
Well, perhaps not every moment of it...
Lately Lacie has been having dreams and visions. Normally she's used to these, thanks to the drugs, but she's beginning to find that these 'false' memories are worming their way into her subconscious. Sometimes she'll only respond to the name Alice and she has a growing obsession with white rabbits. Sometimes she'll only drink water, or even alcohol, when it's labelled 'Drink Me'. She's beginning to speak in a British accent instead of her regular Floridian one. Lacie is beginning to spiral into madness and she's not entirely sure who or what she is anymore. Lacie almost blames it on the drugs and alcohol abuse, but her addiction won't allow her to quit, even if she wanted to. She has no choice but she continue her descent.
